Progress

Well, I have knitted almost 5 balls of cha-cha and 1-1/2 balls of sox into Fiesta the Poncho, and DD17 couldn't stand it any longer, she grabbed it and tried it on--upside down! All I could do was hold the needles tightly. She wouldn't have been able to do it if I had followed the pattern, but I knit back and forth for the first few inches and then joined, so the neckline gapes and will need a cute little seam in the back. But anyhoo, she says she is very impressed and I should work hard on it. She is not a little child, like Harlot's model (favourite thing #3) or Mason-Dixon Kay's model. She is Tall, my DD17. (whine, complain.)
